The Heidelberg SPCA aims to protect all animals from cruelty, neglect and ill treatment. Living up to our mission necessitates the work of many different units within the SPCA, which together ensure that animal rights are protected.
ANIMAL SHELTER
Our shelter provides safety for stray, abandoned, rescued & unwanted cats and dogs, until their new forever homes come get them.
LOST & FOUND
A peripheral service of the Heidelberg SPCA is to provide a “Lost & Found” service to the public for missing pets in the community
YOUTH & EDUCATION
The Heidelberg SPCA is actively involved in providing opportunities for animal education and community engagement.
INSPECTORATE DEPARTMENT
Our Inspectors deal with all cruelty reports and home inspections, both pre and post adoption. Pet shop checks and general pro-active work also handled.
BOARDING KENNELS
